年明け、仕事で使う車の安全祈願に行ってきました。
その帰、お昼ご飯を食べようと、数年ぶりに大衆食堂に行きました。
頼むは「ジャンボチキンカツ定食」。
変わらないお味で美味しかったのですが、
ここにも値上げラッシュの波がきてました。
New Year Blessings and a Familiar Taste
At the start of the year, I visited a shrine to pray for
the safety of the company vehicle. On the way back,
I stopped by a traditional diner — a place I hadn’t been to in years —
for lunch. I ordered the jumbo chicken cutlet set meal.
The taste was just as good as I remembered,
but I couldn’t help noticing that even here,
the wave of price increases had arrived.
